IN THE SHADE
I’m feeling rather tiny, it seems I’m pretty small.
I stopped here in this garden where the blooms are oh so tall!
The sunshine’s very pretty, but also kind of warm.
And all that flapping of my wings has made me tired and worn!
So I’ll sit here in the shade of this delightful bloom.
A little rest is what I need to be on my way real soon!
